Name: Sakura Haruno
Age: 16 years old
Physical Description of Character: Sakura stands at a height of 161 centimeters or 5’3’’ weighing in at 45.4 kg or 99 pounds. She has short bright bubblegum pink hair that reaches a little bit past her chin. Keeping her hair out of her line of vision, except for her bangs, is her red forehead protector. Her forehead is a bit large and when she was younger she got teased for it but now at 16 she’s grown into it. Her eyes are green and combined with the color of her hair its no wonder her name is Sakura.

The pigmentation of her skin is light peach but if she stays out side long enough she will get tanned. She can normally be seen wearing one outfit since it functions as both civilian life and ninja work. Covering her torso is a red vest and under that is either a white tank top or mesh. Covering her elbows are a pair of pink elbow protectors. Her hands are covered with black gloves so she doesn’t injure her fists when she delivers powerful blows to her opponents. She wears a short pink apron that acts as a skirt of sorts with black shorts underneath. She also wears knee high heeled sandals like Tsunade and Shizune. Part of her right thigh is wrapped in white bandages where her weapons pouch sits slightly on top.
Point in Canon: Just before the Fire Temple filler arc.
Personality: Sakura has changed a lot since she first began her ninja training though some things stayed the same. Before she used to adore Sasuke and find Naruto annoying whereas now she wants to get her friend and team member back and Naruto…he’s one of the best friends she could ever ask for. He showed her initial perceptions can be wrong and people can surprise you. Sakura is fiercely stubborn and has quite a temper. If Naruto is acting out or if she really dislikes what’s going on she will shout and punch something that will crack or break.

She’s more outspoken now than when she was younger and tends to have a violent streak. With her temper, violent streak and tutelage under Tsunade Sakura is one tough kunoichi. She is close to her friends and willingly to do anything to protect them even if it means taking a hit or dying for them. While Sakura is loud and has a strong personality there is a softer side to her. Like any girl she worries over her other perceive her from time to time and at times doubts herself like any other normal person.

One of her quirks though is her catch phrase, shannaro, which she usually says when she’s upset or when she’s done something great. It’s her way of saying ‘hell yeah!’ or ‘damnit!’ when she’s fighting.
History of the Character: When Sakura was 12, and Sasuke crazy, she graduated from the ninja academy and became part of team 7 with Uchiha Sakura and Uzumaki Naruto. In the beginning she didn’t do much for her team, usually protecting the person they were assigned to protect while Naruto and Sasuke took care of the enemy ninja. She was always trying to get Sasuke to notice her in some way but that only made the Uchiha label her as annoying. She also didn’t warm up to Naruto until later in the series. Her instructor Kakashi performed the ‘bells’ test in which case she left Naruto alone to help Sasuke.

As the series progressed Sakura became more and more of her own person and tried to be less depended on her teammates. During one battle in the Death Forest of the chuunin exams she went up against Kin while Naruto and Sasuke were knocked out. Sakura did her best to protect them and even cut off her hair to land a blow on Kin. Another growth point for her was when she fought against her friend Ino in the Chuunin exams. Both girls took the battle seriously but unfortunately Sakura was knocked out by Ino…who was also knocked out by her.

When Sasuke left Sakura took the loss very hard and even tried to go with him the night he left the village, telling him she loved him and would do anything for him. Her confession only made Sasuke knock her out and when she woke up he was gone. She was the first to alert Tsunade that he fled and begged Naruto to bring him back. When he didn’t and when Naruto left to train with Jiraiya she went up to Tsunade and asked to be her apprentice.

Sakura was always good at controlling her chakra which helped her in her medical training. For the next two and a half years she studied under Tsunade who helped honed her chakra control. Thanks to the legendary sannin Sakura can not only heal herself but heal her commanders as well. Part of that training though was also to improve her battle skills specifically her taijutsu. Tsunade explained that while medical jutsu can save lives it can also destroy them. With a well placed punch and with enough chakra she could destroy blood vessels and cause internal bleeding or worse. Also in that time Sakura learned the secret to Tsunade’s inhuman strength making her a deadly beauty of sorts.

When Nartuo came back and after passing Kakshi’s bell test for a second time they went to sand to help Gaara who had been taken by Aktsuki. For a good portion of the mission Sakura was battling Sasori along with Chiyo who noticed the similarities between Sakura and Tsunade. In the end the puppet master went down and Chiyo and Sakura left to save Gaara. Chiyo unfortunately had to die in order to give Gaara his life using her own special jutsu, the same jutsu she used on Sakura to save her life after she had gotten stabbed by Sasori. Also during that she was able to remove Sasori’s poison in Kankuro’s body showing her medical skills. From there they went back to Konoha only to leave again with Kakashi’s replacement, Yamato, and a new team member Sai.

Their mission was to meet up with a spy which turned out to be a trap. Naruto battled against Orochimaru where Sakura saw Naruto’s fox transmortion. She was scared at first considering the power he used. She began to cry, telling Naruto to stop but he attacked her with one of his tails. The poison from the chakra knocked her out but she was healed by Kabuto. Once Yamato suppressed the demon fox’s chakra in Naruto she went to work on healing him. They navigate to Orochimaru’s hideout only to find Sasuke there. Sakura wanted to bring him back to Konoha and tried to attack him but Yamato jumped in before she could. Sasuke escaped forcing the ninjas to go back to Konoha.
Magical Powers/Skills: Perfect chakra control meaning she has the innate ability to use a jutsu to its maximum efficiency without wasting any chakra. Good substitution and clone timing. She knows medical techniques and strategy analysis. She fairs very well in taijutsu and genjutsu.
Weapons: Ninja stars, kunai, smoke bombs, scrolls (to be used as messages), and…her fists.
